On January 24, 2024, the delivery ceremony for the first batch of equipment at the Haoneng Technology Zhuhai Base was grandly held. This is the first batch of equipment produced after the Zhuhai Haoneng Intelligent Equipment Base was officially put into production in December 2023. Leaders and project teams at all levels of Haoneng Technology’s Zhuhai base attended the delivery ceremony.

The protective film coating machine delivered this time adopts a comma scraper coating method, with a tension range of up to 500N, a maximum operating speed of 15m/min, a coating width of 2100mm, fast operating speed, and high accuracy. The box adopts a segmented design, which not only improves insulation efficiency but also saves energy to a greater extent.

Delivering with quality and quantity to take development to the next level

Mr. Chen Tao, General Manager of the New Industry Division of Haoneng Technology, pointed out in his speech that the Zhuhai base was officially put into operation in December and the project delivery was completed in just one month. From then on, Haoneng's development has taken an important step and opened a new chapter.

He stated that Haoneng Technology has been in the field of new energy intelligent equipment for 19 years and has been committed to promoting the application and development of green, intelligent, and efficient new energy equipment technology since its establishment. We must strive to maintain our competitive advantage and focus on technological innovation and after-sales services. Technically leading, after-sales service should be detailed and thoughtful, providing customers with more high-quality and efficient products. At the same time, through continuous upgrades of technology and equipment, Haoneng Technology will continue to deeply cultivate the fields of power batteries, energy storage, and digital 3C, actively explore non lithium battery fields, and continuously improve quality and service, striving to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.

Subsequently, General Manager Chen Tao commended the project team for their hard work in this project, thanking them for successfully completing the first production task of Haoneng Technology Zhuhai Base with a spirit of high efficiency and high standards. Project leader Chen Qiong stated that the Zhuhai project team will take this as a starting point to further improve production quality and efficiency, ensuring timely and smooth delivery of each project.

Capital injection+construction agency, dual pronged approach

In July 2022, Gree Group and Kahoo Group reached a cooperation agreement to promote the official settlement of two key industry pillar projects, Kahoo Haoneng New Energy Equipment and New Energy Cathode Materials, with an annual output value exceeding 2 billion yuan and a tax revenue exceeding 25 million yuan, in Zhuhai. In November 2023, a subsidiary of Gree Group acquired 22.77% equity of Kahoo through private placement, becoming the controlling shareholder of Kahoo. Haoneng Technology officially became a wholly-owned subsidiary of a state-owned listed company. Gree Group also provides supply chain services to Kahoo Group, empowering the industrial chain to help Kahoo Group to reduce raw material procurement costs, and solve short-term liquidity needs. And through measures such as building customized factories, we will assist Kahoo Group in achieving high-quality development in Zhuhai.

5.0 Customized factory buildings to meet production capacity requirement

The Haoneng Technology Zhuhai Base is located in the Sanzao Dingjiawan Industrial Zone of Jinwan District, Zhuhai. It is a high standard 5.0 customized factory building, with a very high main floor height, a large span (production line length of 261 meters), high load-bearing requirements, and even a partial floor height of 23.3 meters. It is a single building with super length, super width, and super high-rise height.

The Zhuhai base will serve as one of Haoneng Technology's main manufacturing bases in the future, undertaking production and manufacturing tasks in fields such as intelligent equipment manufacturing, mechanical equipment, new energy, and new materials, and providing over 1000 employment opportunities.

Shipping overseas  Accelerates global layout

As one of the earliest equipment companies in China to expand into overseas markets, Haoneng Technology has accumulated years of research and development experience and production strength in the field of new energy equipment. It has provided professional intelligent equipment and services to numerous domestic and foreign customers, achieving global collaboration and dual wheel drive at home and abroad. The equipment delivered this time will also be shipped to East Asia, laying a more solid foundation for Haoneng's overseas layout.
